director & team principal
Luke Graham is the driving force behind Black Dog Motorsport and the heart of its mission. His journey began under the bonnet, training as a mechanic and developing a lifelong love of motorsport. Over the years, that passion evolved into a career that blended hands‑on expertise with sales, business and customer care across the automotive world. Luke has worked with a wide range of vehicles, from everyday road cars to high‑end performance models.
His knowledge of cars, their history and the culture surrounding them has made him a trusted source of insight and enthusiasm wherever he goes. And his passion for motorsport is matched only by his passion for people - especially those who, like him, have faced challenges that could have derailed their lives.
Luke’s teenage years were shaped by depression, anxiety and panic attacks, long before he had the language to understand what he was experiencing. In his twenties, alcohol became a coping mechanism, leading to addiction and a period of profound struggle that nearly took his life. After time in rehab and a commitment to rebuilding his life, Luke began his sobriety journey in 2008 and has remained sober ever since. In early 2026, he was diagnosed with ADHD, finally giving clarity to a lifetime of feeling out of step with the world.
These lived experiences fuel Luke’s determination to show others that their circumstances do not define their potential. He believes deeply in the power of community, purpose and shared achievement - the very foundations of Black Dog Motorsport.
As a husband and proud father of two, Luke brings empathy, resilience and unwavering belief in people’s strengths to everything he does. Through Black Dog Motorsport, Luke is committed to creating a space where individuals can be heard, supported and empowered to achieve extraordinary things.
